BIR LAHLOU (Liberated Sahrawi Territories) – Units of the Sahrawi People’s Liberation Army (SPLA) have carried out new attacks against the Moroccan occupation forces in the Haouza, Aousserd, and Mahbès sectors, inflicting heavy human and material losses, stated the Sahrawi Ministry of Defense in its press release No. 847 on Tuesday.
“Advanced detachments of the SPLA targeted the strongholds of the Moroccan occupation forces in the regions of Oudi Dahrane and Agrara El-Fersik, as well as the Command Post of the 40th Regiment in the Mahbès sector,” according to the statement reported by the Sahrawi Press Service (SPS).
“Advanced formations of the SPLA concentrated their attacks on the fortified positions of the Moroccan occupiers in the Fedret El Temat region in the Haouza sector, and in the Astila Ould Bouagrine region in the Aousserd sector,” the same source noted.
Previously, advanced detachments of the SPLA had focused their attacks on the positions of the Moroccan occupation forces in the Mahbès sector, targeting the areas of Agrarat El-Fersik and Agrouira Ould Ablel.
The SPLA’s attacks continue against the Moroccan occupation forces, who are “suffering heavy human and material losses along the ‘wall of shame,'” concluded the press release.
