Railway Transport: SNTF Announces Schedule Change

The National Railway Transport Company (SNTF) has announced a significant change in the schedule for trains on the Alger-Touggourt-Alger line. This measure aims to improve service efficiency and better meet the needs of passengers.

According to the information provided in the statement, this schedule modification will come into effect starting this Wednesday. Passengers on this line will be able to take advantage of the new timings for their journeys from today onwards.

The main change concerns the departure from Agha station in Alger heading to Touggourt. Previously scheduled for 8:00 PM, the train will now depart at 6:13 PM, allowing travelers to make the journey during the daytime and avoid late hours.

Likewise, for passengers coming from Touggourt and heading to Agha station, the departure will be at 5:30 PM instead of 8:00 PM. This change is expected to be well-received by passengers as it will facilitate their nighttime travels and ensure an early arrival in Alger.

This initiative by the national railway company aims to enhance the passenger experience while optimizing resource utilization. By adjusting train schedules on this heavily-traveled line, the company hopes to reduce congestion and potential delays, thus contributing to better management of railway traffic.

With the implementation of these new schedules starting today, passengers can expect more convenient and smooth journeys on this strategic line.
