The Directorate of Trade recently conducted an inspection at authorized dealers of the Italian brand “FIAT” on Thursday. One of the dealers informed an Arabic-language media outlet that there are no specific delivery times for cars purchased by customers, explaining, “The customer buys the car, but we cannot provide them with specific information or a definite timeline for its delivery.”
The authorized dealer also emphasized that the delivery duration depends on the period and the timing when Fiat Italy allocates the cars. They asserted that “50% of the delivery times are beyond our control.”
The issue of car delivery times is often raised by customers and remains an important topic for dealers. Fiat Algeria clarified that the delivery time closely depends on the period and availability of cars allocated by Fiat Italy. As a result, dealers do their best to reduce waiting times and meet customer expectations.
What about the prices of Fiat vehicles in Algeria?
Regarding the prices of Fiat cars, the dealer confirmed that they are regulated and cannot be modified. The agent of the Italian brand “Fiat” in Algeria announced discounts on the prices of both passenger and utility vehicles for its customers.
According to a statement from Fiat, the brand has garnered significant interest among Algerian customers, as evidenced by a record number of 150,000 visitors.
In the context of this positive momentum, Fiat announces that its European factories have obtained the “Europe” origin label (EUR. 1), which enables them to benefit from preferential customs duties. All customers of Fiat Algeria, including those who placed orders since the beginning of the vehicle’s commercialization in Algeria on March 21st, will benefit from this advantage retroactively.
