Algerian athlete Yasser Mohamed Triki concluded his participation in the World Athletics Championships in Budapest, securing the 5th position in the men’s triple jump event. The championship was won by Burkinabe athlete Hugues Fabrice Zango, who achieved a jump of 17.64 meters.

The podium at the Budapest World Championships was completed by the two Cuban athletes, Lozaro Martinez (17.41 meters) and Cristian Nâpoles (17.40 meters).
In the upcoming events on Tuesday, three Algerian athletes, Slimane Moula, Djamel Sedjati, and Mohamed Ali Gouaned, will participate in the 800 meters series, starting from 18:20 (Algerian time).
Moula will be in the 6th out of seven series, Sedjati in the 3rd, and Gouaned will participate in the 1st series. Each of the seven series will consist of nine athletes, all striving to secure one of the top three positions in their respective series or among the top three overall timings across all series, to qualify for the semi-finals scheduled for Wednesday at 19:50 (Algerian time).
