Algeria Extends Condolences to President Xi Jinping Amid China’s Floods and Landslides

ALGIERS – President Abdelmadjid Tebboune sent a message of condolences and compassion to President Xi Jinping of the People’s Republic of China on Saturday, following the floods and landslides that struck the northern part of the country, resulting in multiple fatalities, injuries, and missing individuals.

“With deep sorrow, I have learned of the floods and landslides that have occurred in northern China, causing numerous deaths, injuries, and missing individuals,” reads President Tebboune’s message.

“In this painful circumstance, I would like to extend my sincere condolences to you, as well as to the families of the victims and the friendly Chinese people. I also wish a swift recovery to the injured,” added the President of the Republic.

“While assuring you of Algeria’s solidarity during these challenging times, please accept, Mr. President, the expression of my highest consideration,” concluded President Tebboune.
