Air Algérie Launches New International Consultation for Aircraft Acquisition via Leasing

After the unfruitfulness of the first international consultation for the acquisition of aircraft through operational leasing, the national airline Air Algérie has launched a new international consultation.

According to the document released on Sunday by Air Algérie, the airline indicates that it is launching an international consultation for the “Operational Leasing (Dry lease) of a fleet of up to ten (10) aircraft”, including six (6) wide-body and four (4) mid-body aircraft.

Regarding the wide-body aircraft, Air Algérie is seeking six A330-200/300 (GE engines) and/or A330-900 models. As for the mid-body aircraft, the airline is looking for four B737-800 and/or B737-900ER and/or B737-9 Max models.

“This International Consultation is exclusively for Leasing Companies, Airlines, and Manufacturers that hold the rights, approvals, certificates, or authorizations governing the operational leasing of aircraft,” says Air Algérie, which explains that “eligible candidates can bid for one or more aircraft and for each type of fleet.”

“Candidates interested in this consultation can withdraw the specifications on request by email to the following address: aircraftlease2023@airalgerie.dz,” according to the same source, specifying that “submissions must be received electronically at the addresses indicated below, before the deadline for receipt of offers set for 09/15/2023.”

The Technical Offer should be sent to this address: techproposal.lease@airalgerie.dz And the Commercial Offer to this address: comproposal.lease@airalgerie.dz
